I have searched all my life for what the Lord has given me in the last three years. I had a daughter in addiction, lost our home to a fire and was learning the peace of God all at the same time. It wasn't until my husband and I joined in our journey with the Lord that I heard Him say~ "There is work in this world I have set in front of you. These storms were not for nothing!" I got to see God's supernatural miracles in my life..we survived a fire and my daughter has been restored. Praise God! I wanted to learn all I could. I wanted a relationship with my King. I wanted to hear His voice. I wanted to know what I could do to further His Kingdom. As time passed, the Lord tested me (He still does!) He shows me truth, adopted me and began to show me how I could be His hands and feet. I could shine His light and bring glory to Him! I see Him in all aspects of my life and I want to share what I know of Him. So He says "Get prepared! Give it all to Me..." My answer? "Here I am Lord, send me." I know this is a huge responsibility and I know it isn't going to be easy. I will face challenges and be stretched beyond anything I have imagined! Now, we are "Getting prepared", selling our home, purchased an RV, and continuing in our Ministry School. With lots of prayer, listening, and trusting, we are stepping out in faith. We are trusting God to teach, equip, and guide us. The desire is in our hearts! We do not want to miss our calling. Someone will be willing if we won't, but we will! Know you are never too old and it's not too late! So far, God has shown us~the lost need found, they may be found in some dark places, but we can be His light and hope. It's not going to be easy, but He will be with us. Souls are precious to God. We are his sons and daughters! We need to warn people that living apart from Jesus will have serious consequenses in our eternal life. There is a safe harbour in Jesus Christ! Peter trusted the Lord when he stepped out of the boat in Matt 14:30-31. His heart was focused on the Lord. Peter momentarily looked away and began to doubt, so it is important to listen to His voice! Peter could have sank into the waters, but he focused on the Lord. Trust Him! Desire what He desires! Be like Him! Jesus prayed to the Father, did only what the Father did, said only what the Father said. I can say from experience, doing God's will and being obedient blesses my life. It is also some of the hardest tasks in my life. Would I change it for anything else that might be set before me? Most definitely not. Seek those who speak truth and love into your life. Be wise, listen to His voice. Be encouraged to be who He has called you to be. Step out onto the water! His calling for us is always better than we could dream. We may get sent to bring 1000's of lost souls to the Lord~or we might be called to find one. Either way, I will be and example of His love. It's not something you do, it truly is something you ARE! He has a plan for our lives (Jer 29:11) With God All things are possible (Matt 19:26) Take a risk! He is cheering you on!! Run with all your HEART!! “By the blessing of the upright the city is exalted, But it is overthrown by the mouth of the wicked.” Proverbs 11:11 NKJV What we say matters! How many times have we spoken a blessing over our city, our churches, our nation, our region? We have the ability to bless and curse as Ambassadors of the Kingdom but more often then that most believers withhold blessing and unleash a critical spirit over a city. First thing we as believers need to learn to steward is our words, we know scripture tells us we have the power of life and death in the tounge! Why then do we continue release words in speaking to our friends, brothers and sisters in Christ, and prophetically that do not release life or reconciliation. Sometimes, we have to be the voice of hope in a city that has lost hope, sometimes you have to be the voice of hope in a church that has lost hope.. Before you speak watch your words. . Are you restoring or destroying! Jesus ministry came to bring life and life abundantly, the enemys ministry came to steal, kill and destroy. If your words don't bring life then what ministry are you serving. Watch your words- bless and do not curse! "But whatever were gains to me I now consider loss for the sake of Christ. What is more, I consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose
sake I have lost all things. I consider them garbage, that I may gain Christ and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ—the righteousness that comes from God on the basis of faith. I want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, and so, somehow, attaining to the resurrection from the dead." Philippians 3:7-11(NIV) We all have trash…some weeks we have a few bags, some weeks a whole dumpster full. Our actual life is no different; we have trash and rubbish in our life, some weeks more some less. Perhaps you may have encountered a person who holds on to trash, junk, rubbish in their home.. they can never seemingly throw anything out, and you go in their house and you are like “WOW! Really?!” It’s so overwhelming; they have piles and piles and piles of junk everywhere. Your first thought when seeing things like this we need a dumpster and quick! But often times the person will give a variety of justifying reasons they have all that junk piled up, saved up, and won’t let go, and if you were to bring a dumpster a fight might ensue. We as believers can do this spiritually as well, we have a tendency to hold onto to many things that are not needed, that should have been taken out to the trash long ago. We struggle as we think we need to hold on to this and that because what if I might need to use it, go back to it. We keep ties to things that Jesus says should have been tossed out years ago. Do you have some stuff tucked away in your heart, in your attitude, in your personality, maybe even in your home physically that should have just been tossed out years ago, but you just can’t imagine what life would be like without it? Your scared, right now, your thinking is He( Jesus) going to ask me to really go there.. to let go? Yes.. HE is… Take a step today, listen to the Holy Spirit, are you willing to count it all as garbage and get rid of it so that you can depend solely on him? I pray God speaks to each one of you and to your life situation and that we no longer be afraid of submitting and taking out the trash, but will be excited when trash day comes!
